It is indeed true that the old saying "You are What you Eat" holds weight. What we consume can either combat or cause diseases. This section aims to offer you recipes that contain high fiber, anti-inflammatory foods known to promote overall health and reduce inflammation. Shop and Chop!
One of the best strategies to ensure your success with choosing healthy meals is to prep your food ahead of time. How many times have you purchased fruits and veggies, thrown them in the drawer of your refrigerator and then forgotten about them? I know I have. Years ago, I started at strategy that I call "Shop and Chop." As soon as I get home from the store I chop up all of the fresh fruit and veggies and put them in ready to eat containers. This way when I'm ready for a snack, I go the refrigerator and have my pre-cut healthy fruit or veggies instead of reaching for something in the pantry.
